On the fertile lower slopes of Volcán de Agua, near the historic town of Ciudad Vieja, lies Finca Relámpago, a coffee farm rooted in both mythology and modern experimentation.
This region has long been recognized as one of Guatemala’s most iconic coffee growing areas, prized for its high elevation, rich volcanic soil, and cool mountain climate. Today, it remains a dynamic hub of smallholder farming, artisanal production, and coffee cultivation.

I haven't been disappointed in a COTM yet. Each one is distinct and flavorful. I missed 19 because I was on vacation 😩. Ever since I found superlost coffee, we order the COTM as soon as we see it available. We really enjoy seeing that a new one is out and waiting to taste it as espresso vs pour over. One of of favorite things to do.

By far one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. I prepare it as espresso and it’s filled with bright syrupy fruit bomb qualities. I’ve spent quite a bit of time over the years home roasting, and trying coffee is from all over the world, and this is by far an outstanding example of what Coffee can be.

COTM 22

I love the format with the varying coffee origins

COTM 22 is more geisha like than 19 was, with that slight bergamot like undertone. And is behaving like a washed coffee to me. Good stuff.

Fantastic

Big fan of superlost and their COTMs. Made some turbo shots with my gaggia and was getting a lot of light clean floral notes. Every COTM has its own distinct characteristics and have been fantastic.

Apricot bomb

The Coffee of the Moment picks are always bangers. COTM22 is no different, an absolute apricot bomb that shines when brewed hot or flash brewed over ice.

Consistently amazed at the quality for the price from Superlost. Great stuff.
