Edwin Norena’s Yellow Bourbon undergoes a purple honey carbonic maceration with mossto recirculation. The extended fermentation delivers a refined cup with floral body, balanced sweetness, and vibrant notes of blue lollipops, chamomile tea, and raspberries

Cherries are harvested above 20+ brix’s. Cherries are soaked in water for 5 hours. Initial cherry carbonic maceration for 96 hours. Coffee is depulped leaving 45% of mucilage for the second cherry anaerobic fermentation of 48 hours, with recirculatio of Mossto every 24 hours . Coffee is sun dried on African beds for 24 days until humidity is 10.5%. Final humidity stabilization for 8 days inside a warehouse, then coffee is finally stored on grain pro bags. After the final stabilization of 8-10 days, coffees are cupped and lots organized.

I haven't been disappointed in a COTM yet. Each one is distinct and flavorful. I missed 19 because I was on vacation 😩. Ever since I found superlost coffee, we order the COTM as soon as we see it available. We really enjoy seeing that a new one is out and waiting to taste it as espresso vs pour over. One of of favorite things to do.

By far one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. I prepare it as espresso and it’s filled with bright syrupy fruit bomb qualities. I’ve spent quite a bit of time over the years home roasting, and trying coffee is from all over the world, and this is by far an outstanding example of what Coffee can be.

Blue Lollipop?! OBSESSED

I don’t know how to explain but on the nose, it legit smells like the blue lollipops but once you take the first sip it’s more this rich, luscious coffee. I got a discount to try Superlost and now I have reorder 4 times; trying all of their flavors. I hope they have a location that I can visit!

COTM23 was amazing!

Mild, sweet, slight floralness, not super dark chocolatey if that was a turn off. Maybe milk chocolate if anything, but very subtle and you have to look for it. I made a pour over so maybe thats why

Best subscription beans yet

This coffee has more body than many light roasts. We're enjoying it in both pour-over and drip versions.
