People have been asking for years for us to ship out our cold brews / concentrates, but they need to stay refrigerated.. Shipping under those conditions was extremely expensive and a small delay would still mean the product would be ruined. That's when it hit us, remove the water! 

How we make our Instant Coffee Concentrate:

1. We brew our cold brew concentrate using our cold brew beans and a large scale version of the Kyoto Method.
2. Immediately take our concentrate and quickly bring it down to -40 F.
3. It then goes into a vacuum chamber where a pump then vacuums out all of the air as the chamber slowly warms up, this removes all the water. 
4. We are left with sheets of pure coffee crystals.
